KNEE Program Physiotherapist - Accredited Netball Australia KNEE Program Providers
We are accredited and endorsed by Netball Australia as KNEE Program Providers. The KNEE Program is a program designed to prevent ankle and knee injuries occurring in Netball Players.
The KNEE Program is an on court warm up program designed to enhance movement efficiency and prevent injury, especially of the ankles and knees. These areas are the most commonly injured body parts of netballers and most of these injuries occur when landing.
The program targets three specific player groups – junior, recreational and elite level athletes, with different exercises tailored to match the predicted capabilities of each group.
The KNEE Program has been designed to educate athletes, coaches and support staff in providing and ensuring the effectiveness of this program. Whether you are a coach to your child’s netball team, high performance coach, support staff or parent, this program is designed to keep your players on the court for longer and moving more efficiently when there. A physiotherapist is key in the education and implementation of this Program within a netball association, club or team. Speak to us about how we can assist you in providing this to your club, team or players.
As an athlete this program aims to keep you playing the sport you love without being sidelined by injury.
You can explore this program in detail at the website http://knee.netball.com.au where you will find tailored exercises to different age and ability groups (Junior, Recreational or Elite).
